Sasquatch blocking rehearsals

This week we had two rehearsals. On Sunday, we were able to block the rest of our play. I am really happy with the blocking so far and now we will be able to dive deeper and make creative choices. Unfortunately, we lost one of our actors this week. Marty who originally played Matt had to step down. We are very lucky however that we were able to find a new cast member with the help of Liz. Nick is our new Matt and he is doing a great job so far.  On Friday's rehearsal, we caught Nick up to speed on blocking. Nick is really excited to be a part of the cast and he asked lots of questions about his character, which I appreciated. Friday was also our first "off book" rehearsal. I was so impressed to see that the majority of the cast is in fact off book. I think that everyone will be completely off book within the next week. Friday was a fun rehearsal for me because I get to step in for  our actress Hannah (who plays Ariana) during the first part of rehearsal. I really enjoyed it and it gave me a better perspective of the blocking and the character's dynamic with one another overall. Now that the show is all blocked and we have the cast in order, we will be able to work the play and make it amazing! I am feeling really positive about where we are headed.
