Sasquatch first rehearsal!

This week we had our first rehearsal! We met in the lab theater on Tuesday, and were able to block out Sasquatch from scene 1 to scene 3. It was so exciting to see what choices the actors were making, and to see what direction Amy gave them. I'm so glad we were able to block these scenes in the space that the play will be performed. I am really proud of the actors for bringing it this week and I'm looking forward to blocking the rest of the play. There are already so many funny and heartwarming moments. The dialogue is reading very well, so I don't think there are any necessary changes to be made at the moment. So far, so good! This week we also went over what we need as far as lighting and sound are concerned. Our lighting is pretty simple, so I am sure that it is going to turn out just as Amy envisioned. Our sound is also pretty simple, because we just want sounds for the Sasquatch interaction. This Sunday we have another rehearsal where we will hopefully block the rest of the play. I'm looking forward to it.
