Hey everyone! Sorry for the hiatus on blogs. Between illness and a couple crazy weeks, things have been a bit hectic.
I haven't been able to watch the process as much as I would have liked, due to a busy work schedule. Managing 18 credits, a part time job, an acting role AND a dramatist's duties is not as easy as one would think. So when I got a chance to see Sam's actors last Sunday, I was thrilled to see the progress they made since I last saw them. Seeing them almost completely off book and feeling the words is amazing, especially as Brock and Libby explore their characters with movement and reaching new emotional depths has been wonderful.
Scheduling is always a bit tough, and wrangling all our actors to get on the same days has been met with mixed results, but despite that they seem very enthused and capable. Sam has also done a wonderful job managing the 1950's aesthetic we talked about, and seeing props being used is always a plus. The next step is company run through, coming soon, and then seeing everything in its final form, more or less. Here we go!
