Three Snaps and We're Done

Welcome back to another segment of Rehearsal During Week Five,

If anyone wants to know, I am not dead yet, but verging. It's fine. I'm fine.

On to happier topics.

So we had our first read through earlier in the week (Monday if you must know) and it went swimmingly. It was the first time we had heard all three actors read together and I was very excited about their chemistry, and further convinced Mack made excellent choices during casting. Fast forward to today, we had our first rough blocking rehearsal. It was quick. Which is good. But sadly, leaves me without a plethora of insights to report. One thing I can say is how much I like the way Mack has arranged the set, and while we might add a chair, the visual of the couch on stage right balances out Mia and Cal who are often on stage left. I'm very excited to see where Mack takes this play and am even more excited the cast seems to be enjoying themselves while working with my script.
